Guys Farm Activity Centre Warden

HELP US LOOK AFTER GUYS FARM ACTIVITY CENTRE

Want to get involved in an exciting, challenging role where no two days are the same? Why not become Activity Centre Warden for Guys Farm?

The site, owned by Girlguiding Lancashire North West and Girlguiding Lancashire West counties, is situated in the village of Forton, close to the M6 and on the border of the Forest of Bowland. It is ideally situated for trips to the historic cities of Lancaster and Preston, as well as days out to the Lake District and Blackpool.

It is suitable for all members of Girlguiding and The Scout Association, as well as other youth organisations and school groups.

The full-time Activity Centre Warden enables the site to remain usable all year round. There are also a number of voluntary instructors available to lead various activities, including high ropes, abseiling, archery, paddleboarding (SUP) and canoeing. The Activity Centre Warden will work closely with the volunteers.

If you’re interested in working in the peaceful, idyllic setting of Guys Farm, and offering young people and adult members amazing opportunities, apply today!
