About us

Guys Farm Activity Centre and Campsite was officially opened by Mr Simon Towneley JP. Lord Lieutenant of Lancashire on 3rd October 1987. The site is owned by Girlguiding Lancashire North West and Lancashire West Counties.

Guys Farm is an outdoor activity centre providing good quality accommodation for young people. Closely situated to the M6 but surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of rural Lancashire, Guys Farm has so much to offer everyone who visits.

We are located near the picturesque village of Forton, Lancashire near the Forest of Bowland. The historic City of Lancaster is only a 15-minute drive away.

We have over 30 years experience in creating amazing memories filled with fun and adventure. We welcome rainbows, brownies, guides, rangers, scouts, school and charities, Duke of Edinburgh award groups and other youth organisations.

Whether you’re here for a few hours or camping for a week, our friendly team work hard to make sure your visit is memorable and runs smoothly from the moment you arrive until your leaving whilst planning for your next visit.

Our Volunteers

Guys Farm is managed entirely by volunteers who dedicate their time in different ways, including activity instructors, wardens, shop assistants, general maintenance, fundraising, and in many other ways.
